BIOGRAPHY
Jesse came in touch with cinematography through skateboard videos and photography. After working as a camera assistant he moved to Berlin to study cinematography at the renowned German Film and Television Academy (dffb).
He was chosen as a Berlinale Talent, took part in the Talent Transfer Exchange with CalArts Los Angeles and is a member of the German Society of Cinematographers (BVK) and the European Film Academy. His work won several awards (Golden Dove International in DOK Leipzig, Mouse d´Argento at the 73rd Venice Filmfestival, Max-Ophüls-Preis, ADC Junior Awards, Cologne Design Award, to name a few) and was shown on many festivals as well as in the Tate Modern and the MoMa New York. Jesse is living in Berlin with experiences in shooting around the globe (Belarus, Bosnia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, England, India, Mexico, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, etc).
